This guide walks you through the steps to start using Aegister VPN. Follow them to complete activation and configuration.

1. Request the VPN License

  • User license:
    The VPN license has one seat per user. To request it, or more seats, an Owner opens Organizations, clicks the organization and, on the Licenses tab, clicks Acquire licenses, picks the products and clicks Request licenses, which opens an email to Aegister. Aegister activates the license for your organization.

2. Organizational Profile

  • New customers:
    If you are a new customer, provide the information to create your organizational profile:
    • Company name and industry.
    • Names and email addresses of technical and administrative contacts.
    • Any other information the service activation requires.

3. Registering Users for Aegister VPN

After Aegister activates the license and you complete your organizational profile, register users:
  1. Open the management page:
    In the Cyber Console, open Secure VPN → Manage VPNs (direct link). Only organization Owners see this page.
  2. Add the user’s email:
    Click New VPN profile, choose the Organization, enter the Email address of the employee who will use the VPN and click Create profile. Each profile uses one seat of the VPN license; the page shows how many seats are used.
  3. Activate the VPN on the device:
    After you add the emails, each user receives an email with instructions to connect to the VPN. In the mobile app, sign in with SSO or email and password; on other devices (Windows, Mac, or Linux), download the certificate and install it.
